Goal: Use a protractor to measure and compare angles.

Activate prior knowledge: Classify angles according to their measures.

New Knowledge: Steps to draw angles

• Use a ruler to draw a ray.
• Place the centermark of the protractor on the endpoint of the ray. Align the ray with the 0 marka of one scale on the protractor.
• Find the angle you are looking for. Mark the spot.
• Use the ruler to connect this point with the endpoint of the first ray.
