Objective: Solve two-step equations.

Activate Prior Knowledge: Solve the following equations.

1. -4 = -2x
2. y -14 = -8
3. -24 = x/2
4. y + 12 = 18

We corrected the activate prior knowledge in the classroom, went over process to solve equations.

New Knowlege: This new objective talks about two-step equations because we need to use more than one operation to solve the equation.

Skill Practice: p.131(1,2)(3-21) odd, 22, (31-35) odd

Response Journal: Write instructions for someone who doesn´t understand how to solve two-step equations.

Homework: Practice Workbook p.31(1-15) odd, p.33(1-17) odd - For Monday
